What changed since the last session

State at a glance

Work & moneyRESET
N5 closed; DJ floor, S.Chi Labs ceiling
$1,600 repaid + handoff delivered Jul 17; the daily send is the one metric
KarlaHOLDING, DAY 11
Last inbound Jul 19; no communication since
Monday Jul 27; flowers and no DM remains the stated call, with a new pre-action gate
Body & sleepREBUILDING
Nights run to 5-6am; the gate restarts at its honest floor, 4am
His words: "I wake up and feel fucking cooked." The v3 gate below steps down from where he actually is
The wheel, scored by him Jul 21AVG ~2.2
Body 1 · Mind 2 · Soul 2 · Mission 3 · Money 2 · Growth 3 · Family 4 · Romance 0-1 · Friends 2
His own honest baseline, no shame attached; the Aug 15 re-score compares against these numbers.

The loop: the one thing under all three

The loop: no aim → unguarded evenings → games to 5 or 6am → dead morning → no send or gym → no wins → games supply progression → money stays stuck → mission stays survival math → no aim.

Underneath: "if I show up as myself and I'm not enough, I'll be left" (mom died when he was 11). The loop creates respectable substitute work so the rejection-risky rep never happens.

The counter: reps, not more theory. The daily send is the rejection-risky rep, a kept small promise is a confidence rep, and the night gate is the mechanical cut.

All of the above is Sean's own formulation from his Jul 16 review, in his own words, brought here for you to test, not asserted as clinical fact. The send-as-exposure framing also replaces the old behavioral assignment from the IFS sessions (5 dials before 3pm), which by his own accounting went undone for 14 straight days; that non-completion is the data the redesign leans on.

The frame he resonated with hard on Jul 21 (now structural in his plan, worth testing with him):
1. Keep promises to yourself. The daily boxes are small promises, auto-scored so he cannot negotiate with himself at night. Every kept box is a confidence rep.
2. Standards over feelings. Every rule was decided in daylight by regulated Sean. When 2am Sean wants a vote, the standard already voted.
3. Identity over achievement. The score that matters (Total W's) can never go down. A bad day is data, not identity; single days are weather.
4. The sideline is the fear. Staying "full of potential" without trying protects the old identity. The daily send is the anti-sideline rep; being bad at outreach is proof he finally started.

The current protocol (v3, signed by him Jul 21, running now)

Topic 1 · Money & work

N5 is closed and the decision that used to eat these sessions is gone. What remains is simple: DJ is the floor (booked weddings, largely autopilot), S.Chi Labs is the ceiling (his own web agency, mornings), and the one metric is asks sent per day, not pages built.

Topic 2 · Karla, and the Jul 27 decision

Ended Jul 14 after the third fight about her Instagram photos. Sean has held zero outbound contact for 11 days. Her last inbound was Jul 19 and there has been no communication since. Her birthday is Monday Jul 27. Friday's session added a mandatory emotion and unmet need check before any gesture.
Post-session read and the Jul 27 decision gate

Her reach-outs, both unanswered: a missed video call Jul 17, then a missed call plus three texts Jul 19: "Hi Sean how are you?" / "Could it be possible to have a short call?" / "I would like to tell you something." No content in any of them, and he did not reply.

Friday's conclusion: flowers are still attention and continued contact. Sean named anger and sadness under the urge. Tannoz's challenge was that the emotion is not telling him to send flowers. The useful move is to identify the unmet need before acting.

The Jul 25 story: Karla posted a group campaign shoot for a new bodysuit. It is a public work post, not a DM or other communication, and there is no evidence it was aimed at Sean. It changes neither the contact ledger nor the decision logic.

Decision status: flowers with no DM remains Sean's stated Jul 23 call. The session did not cleanly cancel it or finish the delivery plan. It added a mandatory gate before ordering anything.

Before any order

  1. Name the emotion and the body signal without opening Instagram again.
  2. Identify the actual unmet need. Reassurance, significance, respect, control, and closure are prompts, not assumed answers.
  3. Meet the need without using Karla, then make the gesture decision once in daylight.
  4. If flowers still stand: no DM, no improvised second gesture, no same-day reply, and no monitoring for a reaction.

If she reaches again: wait at least 24 hours before considering a reply, preserve the exact message, and bring it back to the Tannoz thread. A public story is not a reach-out.

Topic 3 · Body & the night gate

Night gate v3: lights 4:00am, up by 12:00, stepping down 30 minutes per held week toward roughly 2-3am by late August. The phone stays with him (grayscale plus app timers, no dock, his call). Games are earned after the send, 2 hours base. Gig nights get their own variant (lights within 45 minutes of home, wake within 8.5 hours) so a paid 1am gig never reads as a broken night.

Post-session analysis and next steps

Next session: not booked yet

The next actions pulled from Friday's actual session, not the pre-session theory.

  1. Daily money rep. Make one real ask or send before games. The point is a promise kept, not a perfect business day.
  2. Night floor. Use the current 4am gate and notice the first moment discomfort turns into automatic gaming or feeds.
  3. Emotion practice. Once per day, name the emotion, ask what need is unmet, meet it with acceptance, then choose one action.
  4. Sunday flower gate. Run the written check in daylight before ordering. Today's bodysuit post is not new evidence and does not get a vote.
  5. Monday containment. Normal send first, Instagram logged out, gym, evening plan, no monitoring, and a 24-hour minimum before any reply if she contacts Sean.

Sean's recap: Jul 24 session

The session tied one mechanism across the week. Fear, disappointment, anger, or sadness shows up; Sean moves quickly toward escape, control, or reassurance; the behaviour keeps the loop alive. The practice is to pause before the behaviour, identify the emotion and unmet need, give that need acceptance, and then act. For work, the concrete action is one daily business send. For Karla, the concrete action is not treating the feeling or a public Instagram post as an instruction to contact her.
